Ideal for festive gatherings or as a charming addition to a casual meal, the wreath salad impresses with its beautiful presentation and delightful mix of flavours. The blend of juicy tomatoes, crisp cucumber, and rich buffalo cheese, garnished with green olives and fresh basil, offers a refreshing taste. The final drizzle of olive oil enhances the natural flavours, making this salad a true celebration of fresh, wholesome ingredients.

Whether you’re hosting a special event or simply want to elevate your meal with a visually stunning and tasty dish, the Garden Fresh Wreath Salad is an excellent choice. It stands out in its own right, offering a fresh culinary experience that is both pleasing to the eye and the palate.



  • 5 large ripe tomatoes
  • 1 large cucumber cut into 5-6 cm long and 2 cm wide strips
  • Buffalo cheese torn into pieces
  • A handful of green olives
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Olive oil for drizzling
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Notes from Rouba

  • Choose ripe but firm tomatoes for the best flavour and presentation.
  • If buffalo cheese is unavailable, try mozzarella or feta as alternatives.
  • Pitted green olives are easier to eat 
  • Shred the basil leaves just before serving to maintain their vibrant colour and aroma.


Step 1.

  • Slice the tomatoes into even rounds.
  • cut the cucumber into strips, each about 5-6 cm long and 2 cm wide.
  • Arrange the tomato slices in a circular, wreath-like pattern on a large serving platter. Scatter the cucumber strips over the top. 


Step 2.

  • Tear the buffalo cheese into small pieces by hand and distribute them evenly over the cucumber and tomato base.
  • Sprinkle the green olives and tear fresh basil leaves, scattering them on top of the salad.
  • Drizzle olive oil lightly over the salad and season with salt and pepper to taste.
