6 dinner rolls
3 lettuce leaves halved
½ avocado sliced
12 pickled turnips sliced
¼ cup parsley finely chopped
dukkah to garnish
olive oil to drizzle

Pickled turnips are the pickle of the Middle East—vinegary, colourful, and completely addictive. These pickles are the perfect complement to any wrap-falafel, roast chicken, or kebab. I love snacking on them.
Slice rolls ¾ of the way through across the top lengthways and heat in the oven. Prepare the vegetables, herbs, and accompaniment.
Step 3.
To assemble the dinner rolls, spread about 1-2 tablespoons of hummus on each roll, add the lettuce leaves followed by avocado and parsnip. Top with chopped fresh parsley. Garnish with Dukkah and drizzle with olive oil.
